Can you help to support your local community?

This last year a new team was established for the Winsford Over 3 Athletic Junior Football Club as the Under 15’s, managed by Mike Unwin and assisted by coaches Colin Hunt and Martin McGowan. Starting in Division 3 of the FA Youth League, a group of lads have come together and secured themselves firmly at the top of the board – displaying their commitment and dedication to playing good football.

We are looking to take our boys to participate in the Europa Cup this year in Lisbon. It’s a wonderful opportunity for them to have, to play at Sporting CP Stadium, following in the footsteps of some of their heroes. It’s also multicultural, attracting teams from over the world of all Junior ages. It was certainly an experience for last year’s Under 15’s to compete and play on the pitch at Benfica where they came runners up in the competition. It would be a great opportunity to do the same again for this year’s Under 15’s and this can only be possible with your additional help and support.

And so, how can you help? We have set up this Just Giving page in anticipation of your generosity, no matter how small to help get our lads over to Portugal at the end of May.
