I've raised £1340 to Help raise money for the Winsford Diamonds U7's Football Tournament

We are appealing for help to enable us to enter the players in their first football tournament in May 2018. We are hoping to enter the team in a nearby youth tournament on 4th -7th May which will take place at Prestatyn Town FC and Rhyl FC. We are hoping to raise sponsorship money to pay for the £150 entrance fee and money towards the players and coaches accommodation costs which will be approx. £1,190 for the 3 nights.
All the parents and coaches of these young players would like to further support the squad and individuals by entering them in their first tournament helping them to succeed and flourish and give them the best opportunities to develop the best they can. Encouraging and supporting the children to take part provides them with stimulating and educational experiences promoting each child’s social/emotional, physical and cognitive development.
We are asking for help to support the children of our community, every little helps to promote a healthy and more active lifestyle. Your support will help to form, stronger communities by actively encouraging children and families to come together, it will improve enjoyment in outdoor activities and encourage a healthier and more active lifestyle for children in our communities.
It can encourage better social interaction between children and gender groups, as well as promote cooperative play. Outdoor play is essential to children’s health, development and wellbeing. Outdoor learning encompasses all that children do, see, hear or feel in their outdoor space.
Our objectives and outcomes from this tournament will be to further promote opportunities for physical activity and exuberance, further expand educational and learning experiences and support the hopes and dreams of the children to develop the best they can be in a sport that they are passionate about, empower the imagination and support children’s desire to be lifelong learners. It will provide opportunities for developing harmonious relationships with others, through negotiation, team work and cooperation. It will support those children who learn best through activity or movement. It will provide safe and supervised opportunities for children to experience new challenges, assess risk and develop the skills to manage different situations. Very importantly it will also encourage children to put down their game consoles, mobiles and iPads and give them contact with the natural world which offers them unique experiences, such as direct contact with the weather and seasons.
