Update: The original date for my wing walk - 27th Sept - and the subsequent revised date - 31st October - have both been cancelled due to bad weather. I am determined to do this but it is likely to be in the spring of 2025 now. Thank you to everyone that has sponsored me. I will update you when the new date is confirmed.

I will be doing a wing walk to raise funds for the Thomas Dennett Memorial Trust which is a charity set up in my grandson’s name to ‘help others at times when they need it most’.

We lost Thomas suddenly on 21st December 2022. This is my small, humble tribute to a wonderfully fine, kind young man who was so very special and is loved and missed by many of us every day.

I can picture his wry smile and bemused expression were he to know that Mama is to be strapped on to the wing of a biplane!
