I've raised £2000 to fund future memorials to Will Hay and his co-stars, and to fund the restoration and ongoing upkeep of Will's grave.

UPDATE:
Thank you to everybody who has donated to the bench. We have set up a new fund here for future donations towards the restoration and upkeep of Will Hay's grave, and to future memorials to Will Hay, Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt.
-----------------------------------------------------------
In 2018 the Will Hay Appreciation Society set out to create a permanent memorial bench to Will and his co-stars Moore Marriott, and Graham Moffatt, donated to the people of Cliddesden in Hampshire, the location of their most loved and best remembered film 'Oh, Mr. Porter!'.
This memorial bench was unveiled by Pete Waterman OBE at Cliddesden on Sunday 14th October 2018.
We chose to start fundraising as 2018 marks 80 years since 'Oh, Mr. Porter!' went on general release.
Cliddesden Station on the Alton and Basingstoke Railway stood in for the run down Irish halt 'Buggleskelly' on the fictional Southern Railway of Northern Ireland.
Any further money raised, now the target has been met, will be placed in a fund towards the ongoing upkeep of Will Hay's grave at Streatham cemetery in London, and towards funding costs for any future memorials by the Will Hay Appreciation Society.
