Story
I am fundraising for Galloway's Society for the Blind by cycling 6,000 miles (the distance from Preston to Peru) to help fund their upcoming 2020 Machu Picchu trek and join as a sighted guide on the trip; all in memory of my Nana Margaret Bamford.
This is a charity very close to my heart because during the time that I knew her, she had problems with her sight which made it difficult for her but Galloway's helped by keeping her independent; by supplying glasses and visual assistance as well as helping her to use the small amount of sight she had left. So I am doing this is as a thank you to Galloway's for supporting my Nana through her vision problems and giving her a better life.
Galloway's Society for the Blind is a local charity and as well as fund raising I also volunteer at their Penwortham centre each week.
The Machu Picchu Trek will be a major fund raising activity for Galloway's and they are hoping as many people as possible can attend.

Almost there, thank you everyone who has donated!
