Forty children from Widcombe Church of England Junior school will be embarking on their first ever choir tour in June 2017. The talented choir will be performing at both the Anglican Cathedral and Metropolitan Cathedral, and they are just about to begin rehearsals for their repertoire. Shean Bowers, Assistant Director of Music at Bath Abbey and Bethan Dudley Fryar will be preparing and conducting the choir.

As well as performances in the city, the children will be taking part in a variety of cultural experiences with visits to the Tate Museum, Maritime Museum, The Beatles Story and of course no visit to Liverpool would be complete without a ferry tour across the Mersey!

Fundraising is well underway, with children running cake sales, letter writing to local businesses, Bath Half Marathon cafe and a concert at the Roper Theatre scheduled for March.
