I've raised £300 to Support the amazing work they do at The Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust

"We may not be the prettiest and we're certainly not a fan of the mud, but July 7th we'll be ditching the heels, dropping the whiteboard pens and reaching for our trainers, as we take part in the Chester Le Street Race for Life “Pretty Muddy” Cancer Research 5km obstacle run.
Each year 359 960 people are affected by cancer, but the disease affects so many more in communities, including our own school community. It doesn't discriminate and it doesn't fight fair.
That's why we're fighting back dirty. At the end of the day, we will be muddy, our hair will be a mess, but we will stand united in our fight to beat cancer.
Stand with us and stand up to cancer, as individuals, as a school and as our community. We will stand together so no one has to stand alone.
Come along and support us, donate and cheer us on, laugh at us fall, giggle as we struggle but ultimately smile with us as we bring the fight to cancer and we fight dirty".
If you would like to donate we are raising money for a local charity "Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust". There plan is to create a place which will support individuals and families in County Durham and Darlington who are affected by cancer.
