Story

Have you ever thought about losing your eyesight at a young age? Not being able to see the smile of your wife on your wedding day, or see your first born child come in to the world?

This is the terrifying reality one of our best friends is facing.

He has been battling diabetes for years and has now developed agressive diabetic retinopathy. This will make him blind within 6 months unless he has an expensive course of injections which can reduce the damage within his eyes. However, he is on the other side of the world and unable to afford the massive outlay.

So, stepping up are the five other members of the wolfpack to scale the three highest peaks in the UK within 24 hours to raise the money to save his eyesight. Not a group of friends to watch when one of their own is struggling; we have agreed to this mighty challenge. We're five rotuned, balding, middle-aged men so will need all of your support to keep us going!

We have set ourselves a target of £2,500 to raise before we embark on the challenge on Saturday 9th June 2018. Any contribution no matter how big or how small will be greatly appreciated.

We will also be keeping a video diary to share with you the challenges we face.
