Story
On Sunday 13th March 2022 I will be travelling to Przemysl in South Eastern Poland 12km from.the Polish Ukrainian border to volunteer in my capacity as a qualified nurse and midwife.
The money is not to fund my trip .I am self funding my travel and living costs and I am.taking 3 weeks unpaid leave from my substantive NHS role to help the Ukrainian people displaced because of the Russian invasion to enable me to buy food and medical.supplies as we are unable to send food from England
I have collected 2 pallets of essential medical equipment and baby essentials which I am having shipped directly to the refugee centre in Przemysl.
I am going to volunteer as a First Responder Nurse and Midwife and have been assigned two 3rd year medical students to assist me giving essential medical assistance

3 years agoIts 3 months since we started our just giving with a meagre target of raising £1000. With offline donations our total raised totals just over £19,000 This is a staggering amount of money raised by our friends, businesses and people we have met along the way. It would be unfair to single out any one person or company so THANK YOU EVERYONE who has taken the trouble to follow our story and donate to our cause. To keep up-to-date with our journey please follow our story on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/486653329830841
