I've raised £1000 to help with fundraising at Weldon cricket club and for Marie Curie to fund the care they give to those with a terminal illness.

On Saturday 13th June, a small group will be walking the 23 plus miles from the Northamptonshire County Cricket Club to Weldon Cricket Club, to raise funds.
Primarily Weldon cricket club needs to kick off its own fundraising for the year. We had intended to do this on the first day of the season in April, but COVID delayed that.
We feel the right thing to do is to also support a charity, and we have chosen to raise money for Marie Curie. We hope to be able to donate a significant amount to them to help with their care and support of those with terminal illness.
Four of our members will be walking the full length, others will join at two pre-assigned watering holes; Kettering Cricket Club (10 miles remaining), and Geddington Cricket Club (6 miles remaining). If you would like to join us, please let us know, we will need to limit the group for obvious reasons.
We welcome all donations and support to both our club and the named charity and we would be happy if you could spread the word.
