Wednesfield Football Club (est.1961) have just completed an amazing season; Runners-up in the League and The J W Hunt Cup and winners of the League Division One Cup and the Birmingham FA Vase. Our Manager who took over in 2015 has introduced his own ethos bringing in many of the younger players who were already at the club. We are proud to have some 17 teams playing under our Club name with ages ranging from 5 years of age to the Adult 1st Team who are now playing in the Premier Division of the West Midlands (Regional) League after successfully gaining promotion last season. Our Youth Team also won their division in the Midland Floodlit Youth League last season and therefore gained promotion to the Premier Division.

As you can imagine, like all Clubs playing at this level, we require funding and donations from local businesses and generous local people. This not only helps with the running of the Club but means we can make necessary ground improvements that are a requirement of playing at this level. In particular we have to resurface the driveway and improve our disabled facilities at the ground - this is work that needs to be done by 31st March 2018, so time is of the essence. We have submitted an application to the FA for funding to help with this but also need to raise a portion of the money ourselves.

We are fortunate to have many volunteers who give up their time to help both on and off the football field and who organise regular fundraising events that benefit all the children and adults that play in our teams and use our facilities. Wednesfield Football Club is very proud to be able to provide such an excellent amenity to our local Community.
