World Mental Health Day 10/10/2024 we need your help!

The Bobby Copping Foundation is a local, fully registered mental health charity that fully funds and provides counselling to those in need. We have our own team of professional counsellors who will reach out to book in the first counselling session within 4 working days of initial contact with the charity, providing those who are mentally struggling with the help they need almost immediately.

On Thursday 10th October 2024 it is World Mental Health Day and we are running our own ‘Wear blue for BCF’ campaign across as many local schools and workplaces as possible. The idea of the campaign, is that all students, staff and/or colleagues wear blue clothing on this day and donate £1 to the charity. By doing this not only would you be raising awareness on mental health, but providing a local charity with the funds it needs to help improve mental health in our area. This years World Mental Health Day theme is ‘it’s time to prioritise mental health in the workplace’ so there’s never been a more poignant time for a workplace and/or school to participate. We would be eternally grateful for any support.

As a small charity, it is the local schools and businesses who donate and fundraise for us that keep us going. In the last 5 months we have fully funded and provided over 250 counselling sessions, however we want to help more people and can only do this if we keep raising awareness and the funds to do so.
