Story

Hello, my name is Wayne, and I'm reaching out to share our family's journey with my 4-year-old grandson, Jack, who is non-verbal and has been diagnosed with Autism and Global Learning Delay.

Our family has faced many challenges during Jacks diagnosis journey, but with the help of Anston Stones Early Years, we have witnessed remarkable growth in Jack, thanks to their compassionate support and tailored resources. They have opened doors for us to vital services in Rotherham, advocated for his needs and amended their setting to suit the needs of Jack ensuring he feels safe and happy in the environment. For this, we are incredibly grateful.

To give back and raise awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorder and the need for inclusivity in educational settings, I will be walking approximately 15 miles from Anston Stones Early Years to Aesseal New York Stadium on May 3rd, alongside friends for the last match of the season.

All donations will go directly to Anston Stones, allowing them to continue their invaluable work supporting Jack and other children like him. As I believe we are so lucky to have a setting like theirs in our area.

Thank you for considering a donation to help us create a more inclusive world for our loved ones!
