Story

For my year as Mayor I will be raising funds for my nominated charities which are Creative Response and Jigsaw Trust.

Children and adults with autism and other special needs, as well as their parents and carers, can feel quite isolated. Jigsaw is a local group which supports people in Cranleigh, and I am proud to be able to help them during my year as Mayor.

The barriers on the road to recovery for people with mental health and substance abuse issues are complex. Creative Response's endeavour to face these barriers in innovative ways, through compassion and understanding of their complex needs is one I am passionate in supporting.

As well as raising funds for Jigsaw Trust and Creative Response , I hope my support will help to raise awareness of autism and the benefits of the Arts aiding in the recovery of people with mental health and substance abuse issues.

I am hoping to raise as much money as I can for both of my nominated charities during my year as Mayor. I also plan to help other charities, good causes and appeals, as I want to do as much as I can to help support the people of Waverley.

Please help by donating here on my JustGiving page – it doesn’t have to be a big donation as every little will help. Thank you.
