A family in Walmer, Deal has had the trauma of experiencing a house fire and to top it off its just before the Christmas period. The family have two adults (both working in professions which help people) 3 teenagers, 2 dogs (which now have to houses in kennels for a time) and 2 cats.
This 3 story house has lost its roof completely, top floor fire/smoke/water damage and smoke/water damage throughout the entire property making it unliveable.
This funding has been set-up so we can help a little towards trying to make this traumatic time a little bit easier. It will be for buying basic necessities, clothing and basically everything else that it can help towards in this time of need.

3 years agoWe will be closing this page on the 17th January. If anyone wants to donate after this date, please feel free to contact us through this page. Thank you all for your continued support. Hopefully the Insurance will be sorting out a rental property in the next week or two and so the whole family can be together again. David, Zoey and the family would like to say thank you all for your support. It means the world to them and will help them start in their rental property. Thank you all once again :)

3 years agoDavid (dad), Zoey (mum) and their 3 children have passed on their thanks for everyone's support for what had been a traumatic time for them. It has been a wonderful show of support from all members of the community. They are hoping to be moving Into a rental property around mid Jan as the building work is looking likely to take about a year :(
