I've raised £1000 to Kings College Research - Dr Sreedharan's Motor Neuron Disease and the Firefighters Charity

We are a walk & talk group for men. Offering a safe and supportive environment to chat freely and check in with yourself. Signposting offered, no judgment made. That isn't all we do, we also like to support other charities that are close to our hearts. This year some brave (Some may say idiots) walkers are taking on the LONDON 2 BRIGHTON ULTRA CHALLENGE®
Now in its 11th year over 2,000 adventurers will take on the Capital to Coast route and test their grit over the whole weekend. Richmond-Upon-Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100 km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view.
We will be supporting two charities the mean a lot to our team.
First up is the Kings College Research - Dr Sreedharan's Motor Neuron Disease. One of our walkers John Lives with the disease. His ability to continue with these walks and share his stories drive us forward with our want to help others. We see his challenges every week and wanted to set our self a large challenge that although would never compare, would be symbolic while raising funds to his chosen charity.
Our second charity is the Firefighters Charity, which exists to support all serving and retired members of the UK's fire family to live healthier and happier. And thats 's not just firefighters, it supports the whole fire services community, including families too.

We appreciate times are tough for many right now, but any donation would be gratefully received.
