Iʼm raising £75,000 to help fund equipment purchases to improve our fleet for the Walbrook Rowing Club Teddington – Junior rowing program

Story
Can you help fund equipment purchases? We need your kind financial support towards the WBK junior program. There is an ongoing need to improve our fleet and the juniors would greatly appreciate some new equipment. The club has identified the need to raise funds to support the following aims:
We are increasing the quality and number of boats available to the junior membership to get as many children out on the water as possible
We are improving the quality of boats to ensure crews are competitive without being disadvantaged due to aged equipment
We have a track record of success at junior sculling events and would like to build on this for the children of the future
They desperately need the following equipment:
• Coxed quad (4x+) for shared use across girls and boys
• Coaching launch to ensure safety and direct coaching of crews
• Elite 4x- and 2x for use by boys
We cannot achieve these goals without a massive fundraising effort. We thank you for your generosity, and cannot wait to see Walbrook Rowing Club Juniors on the water, supporting them to achieve their full potential in rowing.

2 days agoFantastic to see the generous donations - thank you all! Very exciting news to share. Walbrook Rowing Club has 2 crews selected to represent Thames London in the Junior Inter-regional Regatta (W J14 4x+ and J16 4x-).
