Story
Vine Hall, in East Molesey, was earmarked for closure and redevelopment by Elmbridge Borough Council during lockdown in 2020. Thanks to an outpouring of support from the local Molesey community, the new Vine Hall Community Group is in the late stages of negotiations with the Council and will be taking over the running of the hall.
The hall has sat empty for most of lockdown and badly needs some remedial work done to make it ready to hire out. Vine Hall Community Group will be receiving no regular funding from the council to run the hall, and will start up with only what we can raise from donations.
Our current focuses for refurbishments are:
- renovating the kitchen
- renovating the toilets
- painting the interior
- landscaping the exterior
Anything you can afford to give will be very gratefully received.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our campaign.
