Story
We are PACT, a group of local people, living in Peterhead, who have spent four years trying to regenerate unused spaces and return them back into use for the benefit of our community. At Victoria Community Park we have built a superb leisure facility consisting of a playpark, sensory garden, mini-golf, and a great green space for people to relax. We are proud of this achievement, and we only want to see it enjoyed by everyone.
Sadly, since the park opened, it has been subjected to a campaign of vandalism and anti-social behaviour. Whilst we have some success in combatting these issues, we have been left with £10K worth of damage.
We are now asking for our community to help us to:
1. Restore some of the damage already done.
2. Further improve the park with additional attractions.
3. Provide enhanced security measures to help combat vandalism.
PACT trustees are unpaid, our only reward is seeing the children of the town smiling, laughing and enjoying the facilities in Victoria Community Park.
Please consider helping us with a donation.
