Story

Funky feet is a group created within JTD ARTS LTD, run by Vickki Jarmyn CEO of JTD ARTS, it was set up with funding supoorted by Thurrock Council to help cover our theatre and venue costs, so the students could pay a small contribution eaxh month and gain a real life performing arts experience, it is to reach students leaving specialists schools to create a safe, comfortable and social enviroment, its aim was to allow all students to be independent in producing, creating and directing their own shows, have experience in a real theatre every single week and train on the stage the “Thameside Theatre”

Most by now have seen the scandle thurrock council have created, and they have now after 14 years cut us back from our funding, whilsy he lives the dream, they have cut so much back….including our funding, come September this club could be cut for good. With those who thrive on getting up every week, avoid isolation and be part of a community they created left with nothing.
