Ethel was saved from the Italian meat market by Pegasus, a French sanctuary… her journey continued when she was offered a forever home in Jersey at Chestnut Farm. She has come a long way since she stepped off the trailer frightened and nervous, and her progress has been helped by her love for Emmet another rescue donkey!! The pair are inseperable and never more than a few feet apart… sadly Ethel has a large growth on her nose and another under her leg, these require treatment at a UK veterinary hospital, without treatment Ethels life and re-habilitation will never be truly fulfilled, her paradise is within grasp and treatment will allow her to reach it… please help to give Ethel the life she deserves
