Story
The Vatsalya Foundation provides shelter, education and food for street children in Mumbai. The New Quadrant Foundation ('NQF') is fundraising for a new facility to support girls living in the slums with education and skills training.
NQF has been supporting the charity for a number of years through Senior Partner, Louise Stoten, and more recently Senior Associate, Kiran Vasudeva. Both have made trips to Mumbai and visited the boys shelter and the children contact centre in the slums and were moved by the work the charity does and the plight of the girls.
NQF will be hosting a Quiz night on Tuesday 27 June 2017 to raise funds for the Vatsalya Foundation. Tickets are a minimum donation of £150 for table of 5 and if you are able to attend, please contact Jackie Vahinsbergh (Jackie.Vanhinsbergh@nqpltd.com). Thank you all for your donations, it is very much appreciated! In total we made over £6,700 on the night and so it was a successful event for a worthwhile cause. I am pleased to confirm that the charity has secured a space in Mumbai for the girls shelter and the funds will assist with paying for the rent and purchasing equipment. Thank you again.
