Story

Currently, there are a number of Ukrainians living in Chipping Campden and the surrounding area. Indeed we are very pleased to share our office space at the moment with Yuriy, who, along with his family, left Ukraine on the first day of the invasion and came to Britain to escape the war.

Many of their family and friends are serving on the front line, and there is an immediate need for medical aid for Ukrainians injured defending their country.

Like all our Ukrainian guests Yuriy has been supporting them from afar, and he is constantly looking at additional ways of supporting them in the field. One of these is buying second-hand ambulances from here in the UK and sending them to Ukraine to evacuate the wounded to hospital; along with supplying British Army medical backpacks (which are the best in the world).

We have been trying to find ways to help Ukrainians caught up in the war, and we would very much like to fundraise to obtain some of these backpacks and/or contribute to the ambulance.

So, along with a great team of people, including Craig at the Cotswold House Hotel, Andrew James, Steve Harrison and Yuriy himself, we are arranging a black-tie fundraiser dinner to raise funds for medical aid for front-line Ukrainian personnel.

It will be taking place at The Cotswold House Hotel in Chipping Campden on the 18th of November at 7 pm. There will be a champagne reception, a 3-course dinner, live music, a charity auction, a raffle, magic, a Photo Booth, and dancing until carriages at midnight. It will be great fun, and I hope you can make it.

All net proceeds will go to buying medical aid.
