Hello - and thank you for looking at our just giving page! We are attempting to raise £600 to fund a fourth competitive BUCS team for the University of York Equestrian Club. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 our funding has been reduced :( and we have had over 30 FANTASTIC new applications for the team, plus 8 returning members to re-trial. This leaves us very short, with currently only 12 places to offer out. We would hate for some excellent riders to miss out on competing this year due to finances.

We have a growing inter-university reputation, after two of our A team riders made it to Nationals in 2019, with ex-captain Amy McIntosh placing 11th. Our B team qualified for Regionals in 2020 which was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid-19 however, we believe they were strong enough to go all the way! We are also well known for being a super friendly and welcoming club, who supports their members physical, emotional and mental wellbeing first. Horses really are our passion, and the club provides a few hours a week to get away from busy and stressful campus life, out into the countryside to enjoy the sport we all love so much.

To aid our just giving endeavour we are aiming to run/walk/ride/cycle 600k as a club!! No small feat for a fairly small committee and supporters. Please, if you think you can help us reach our goal and help provide a fourth team for the club we would really appreciate any donation - big or small!
