Story

My double decker bus which I use to help young people in the capital of London, to escape from gangs and youth violence has been burned to a cinder by a vandal.
I deliver a music course on my double decker bus to 'at risk' youth. My project works with younger people who have been affected by violence or want a way out of gangs. I started the project last year using my own money because I could see that the current trend of young people being killed in the capital, shows no signs of slowing down. I called my project United Borders because I set out to use this bus to unite borders cut off by violence. We bring an end to rivalries by providing jobs, mediation and a skill in music. Earlier this year my own son was nearly killed in a violent knife attack and was left fighting for his life. Thank god he pulled through. Ever since that day I have vowed to do more work with more urgency and more intensity because our children are crying for help. My bus broke down in a village. The villagers helped me but unfortunately someone has burned the bus to a cinder. I don't want this set back to stop me. I need to raise the funds urgently to buy back another bus and refurbish it again with studio equipment. Please help me. This isn't for me, its for a generation who need our urgent attention. Thank you.
