On Tuesday 15th March we drove a lorry to the Ukrainian border with supplies for refugees.

These supplies included medical equipment, hospital items and baby food as well as food and general supplies donated by Tesco in Ashford and their customers.

The majority of the medical aid was collected from an amazing team at Folkestone organised by Valia. There was a constant flow of deliveries and donations from a wide range of local organisations. Amazing to see this outpouring of support for the people of Ukraine.

The drive was over 2400 miles - from Kent to Rzeszow in Poland and back. Your donations directly contributed to fuel, tolls, the ferry and lorry hire. You have been so incredibly supportive and generous that our original target was exceeded beyond our dreams meaning that we have now sponsored another two lorries. One of these went across the border into Ukraine this morning (22nd March) and delivered much needed medical supplies. We plan to continue fund raising ensuring all donations go directly to getting supplies to the Ukrainians.
