Our cause is a little different, and certainly more specific – RUGBY FOR UKRAINE WOMEN. Particularly for those taking up the sport of rugby for the first time, once their families are back together, they have somewhere to live, a supermarket to shop in and a job to go to.

Playing Rugby might not be top of their priorities at the moment, but when times are better for them, we would like the Ukraine Federation to have the resources to re-build and recruit new players

We are a group of women in the North of England who, ourselves, are new to rugby – (and loving every minute of it) - wanting to help our ‘sisters’ in the Ukraine.

Our main fund raising event will be at our End Of Season Celebration at Oldham RUFC on 18th June, when , amongst many other fundraisers, we will be naming and raffling their BIGGEST supporter

So how much should you donate? just think of an amount – then double it – then add a bit more.

Your pocket or purse might be lighter – but then, so will your heart.

*All monies raised will be held in trust by Lancashire Rugby Football Union until the time is right to pass them over to the Ukraine
