Story
23/03/22 - Our target for a second ambulance has been reached today, so we have now raised it again and the extra funds will be used to build new animal enclosures and rehabilitation areas and pay for any other incidental costs that we can assist Foundation A.D.A. with. Please rest assured that Nick is talking and working with the vets and Foundation Directors every day and we are 100% accountable to them for the money being raised in their name.
*** Information for those wishing to travel to Poland & volunteer ***
The best place for you to assist is to go to the Warehouse at Fedropol, which is acting as a collection point for animal supplies.
The address is:
Foundation ADA, Warehouse at the castle in Fredropol, (Fredropol 14, 37-734), MQX2+3M2 Fredropol, Poland
Be advised that accommodation is very thin on the ground, so it would be best to go in a camper van or motorhome and you can park at the Warehouse.
Vanessa can be contacted on 07918 684598 if you need further guidance.

Please watch our latest videos (above) where Nick recorded video diaries of his missions to Lviv in Ukraine to deliver emergency animal supplies and bring back displaced pets for medical treatment and transfer to animal sanctuaries within Poland.
Thank you to everyone who has landed here from ITV "This Morning" and BBC News. We are so grateful for your support and good wishes.
It's good to know, that, once the war is over, these ambulances will continue to serve the animals in the care of the brilliant Foundation A.D.A.
Together we will save the animals of Ukraine.

Yesterday lunchtime (3rd March 2022), Nick and I decided to launch a humanitarian mission to Ukraine.
Things happened very quickly once the decision was made.
Nick went to the local cash n' carry and purchased water, baby milk, non-perishable foods, hygiene products, and other emergency essentials.
The staff at Bookers, on learning of what Nick was doing, rushed around and helped fill trollies.
Nick's trailer had an electric problem, and mechanic Craig fixed it free of charge.
We both then went through all our outdoor clothes and pulled together 4 dustbin liners of puffer jackets, fleeces, hats, scarves, gloves etc. as many of the refugees are suffering from hypothermia.
Neighbours saw us filling up the truck, and immediately went and put together a bag of baby clothes.
Nick spoke on the phone to NGOs and some of our Polish friends for advice on where these supplies were most needed.
Ferry tickets were booked.
I was very keen to go with Nick, but we decided that I would be better remaining at home acting as "Mission Control" and also looking after our three Bengal Tiger cats.
Nick has set off this morning for the 20 hour drive to the Polish/Ukraine border via a ferry from Dover to Dunkirk.
The intention is to use this trip as a recce, get a feel for what is happening on a ground level, and then mount a bigger mission with a larger vehicle and do further runs.
We would like to thank our friends at Platinum Property Partners for their support. We reached out to them yesterday and they made a generous donation of £1,000 to get the mission underway.
Nick will be sending back photographs of his mission which I will be posting on this thread.
We are now inviting all our friends and colleagues to support Nick. We estimate that he will require 6 tanks of fuel.
Every penny raised will go to assisting the Ukrainian refugees.

Thank you.

5 days ago18.05.22 Nick is back in Ukraine & has been in Kyiv where he visited an animal shelter that had been bombed/mortared 5 times. Sadly, many cats and dogs lost their lives, although there were three cats that miraculously survived under the rubble. Nick reports his latest news from the actual bomb crater & explains how his pet rescue mission is developing. The borders are closing to non-vaccinated and chipped pets so Nick is co-ordinating a facility that can undertake this work and allow animals out of Ukraine to be re-homed. More on this soon.

8 days ago16.05.22 Nick has been back to the cat rehabilitation facility and reports that many of the cats have been re-homed, freeing up spaces for new feline refugees. They are rehoming around two cats per day. We are sure you agree that this looks like catty paradise while waiting for a new "forever" home.

9 days ago"All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go ... " ... A line from the famous song "Leaving on a jet plane". Nick is flying back to Poland as I write, and here's a picture of his Bengal Tiger cat, Solstice, on his luggage as she doesn't want him to go! I am nervous myself this time, as Nick has plans to go much deeper into Ukraine to do a food drop at a dog shelter at Kyiv. His camera is packed and he'll be documenting his trip. Thank you for your continued support. x
