In 2022 as community we supported 90 Ukrainian people, who have fled their homes and left their families, to learn basic English. The impact of this has been huge; not only have the lessons helped the students to better integrate into the community they have also assisted them to find work. The lessons continue to be in high demand, with 45 students using the classes each week.

With your support we are extending the lessons until April this year, with the help of the Ridgeway, where some of the lessons are taking place. We continue to be incredibly grateful for your support.

The lessons take place Monday to Friday at the following times and locations:

Beginners and intermediates: The Old Counting House, between 9.30am - 11.30am and midday - 2pm.

Evening classes are held at the Old Counting House Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 6pm-7.30pm for those that are working and cannot attend during the day.

An advanced lesson is run from The Ridgeway Centre two afternoons a week.
