Story
Growing up in a rural village Ikpamodo, Igbo Eze North Local Government Area, Enugu Ezike, Enugu State, Nigeria, Nkem was a 17 year old that had a dream and aspiration, a dream of one day going to University and pursuing a career in International Relations. Being a twin, it was a real struggle finishing secondary school. Her dream to go to University was shattered by lack of finance, as her parents who were separated could not afford it. Going to University for her was a lost cause, the only option she had was to get married as a teenager.
So many young girls/boys in her village harbour such dreams and have no hope of actualising them. That is a lot of dreams being cut off. When these young people get the opportunities they deserve, they better themselves, poverty goes down, economy grows, and the world, by all accounts gets better.
Your support will help over 5 students every year who are building bright futures through undergraduate studies.
Each donation you make removes financial barriers for one person who will turn their higher education into a lifetime of opportunity. Thank you
