Help us alleviate financial hardship for professional staff.
We are a teaching union at a large North London FE college who are currently striking to reduce unmanageable workload and to increase our pay, which has fallen 35% behind inflation over 10 years and £9000 behind that of schoolteachers.
Most worryingly, we are some £6000 a year behind lecturers' pay in comparable colleges that have secured a decent pay award.
We are hoping to raise money to alleviate the financial hardship for members who face the greatest impact of pay deductions because of these strikes.

1 year agoOur union's FE president will be publicising our campaign and this hardship fund at the union's National Congress over the weekend of 26th to 28th May in Glasgow to enable us to raise funds that will give members that security to maintain their continued action to win a respectable pay award.
