当下，武汉市已采取全面交通封锁以控制病毒传播。由于交通封锁，以及中国复杂和庞大的人口，医疗消耗品的供给已出现了巨大的缺口以至于在病毒对抗的第一线出现了医护人员在不足或毫无保护的情况下接触患者的情况。因此，中国学联在此组织了公众筹款支援黄冈等地区的计划：
第一步：同学可以在此参加众筹。
第二步：我们会用众筹的资金进行对 N95口罩，手术面罩，手术帽，手术与医疗手套，防冲击护目镜等物资的批量购置。
第三步：我们会将被购置的物资间接交由已与我们取得联系的湖北省一些当地医院以及附近地区的负责人员。
因为被购买的物资的特殊性质和当下情况，这些物资会对于我们来说非常难以直接购买。中国学联在此期间会负责与医院，武汉相关政府官员以及中国大使馆的联系与协商。在此期间，任何相关信息都会公开于学联的官方公众号上。谨此，UCLCSSA感谢大家的帮助和支持。
As it is known from credit sources, the situation of the current crisis in Wuhan has reached a critical point where all help is needed. In China, the Wuhan Coronavirus has caused 2744 confirmed cases, 5794 suspected cases, and 80 deaths countrywide until 12am on 27th January.

The novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), cause of severe acute respiratory infections (SARI), has infected thousands of people in China and cases have also been identified in other countries including but not limited to Japan, South Korea, and the USA (with suspected cases in the UK).

At this moment, the City of Wuhan has implemented a city-wide transport shut down. Due to the city’s virus containment measure, its large population, and China’s vast and complex demographics, the medical consumables and suppliers are in high demand, and many medical staff are now carrying tasks with insufficient or no protection.

Thus, to support the medical staff, patients and the general public, please follow the steps below:

Step 2: We will collect the funds and spend all on buying N95 face-masks, surgical masks, surgical caps, operating gowns, surgical gowns, anti-impact goggles, etc.
Step 3: Items will be handed indirectly to hospital officials in Wuhan and surrounding areas, whom we have direct contact!

Due to the nature of the goods and the current situation, they are highly inaccessible for us. UCLCSSA would take on the responsibility for contacting hospitals and authorities in Wuhan and the Chinese Embassy, and we will provide all updates on our official Wechat public platform: UCLCSSA.
