I've raised £5500 to Help fund a centre where we can offer non-judgemental and non-directive advice and training to the Black communities in tees valley.

Ubuntu multi-cultural Centre CIC was founded to provide information, advice, and advocacy support to the Black communities in Middlesbrough and Tees valley. To offers impartial, non-judgemental, and non-directive advice. To also help individuals explore their options and make informed choices in a safe, comfortable, and trusted place.
We do this to empower BAME communities through outreach programme to the “hard to reach communities”. They are termed as hard to reach because no one has been creative enough to find them, therefore Ubuntu has a plan to reach out to them, instead of waiting for them to come to us. We have a plan to enable them access the centre services and also engage in the activities hence keeping them engaged, involved and active, but above all, keep them away from isolation, discrimination and crime, hence increasing prospects for community cohesion.
Our Aim is to creatively make the hard to reach communities, the new easy to reach communities in Tees Valley, through food, cultural dance, workshops, zoom meetings, training, sensitisation, outreach etc...
