On Friday 29th March we are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Basingstoke Under9s. The weather forecast is not looking great so please get behind us to help us raise money for the U9s Rugby Club.

We are aiming to start at Snowdon on the Friday morning at first light, and if everything goes to plan we will complete Scafell Pike before midnight and then drive through the night to Ben Nevis and all done and in the bar by Saturday lunch time.

Well it sounded great in the bar the other night but with further snowfall forecast, Friday rush hour traffic and maybe a few aches and pains we may run a little late.......

Attempting this challenge we have representatives from the coaching team, Adam Angell & Mark Wyman and from the parents we have Daniel Hinton, Pete Moore & John Taylor.

All the coaching team and our Sharon our team manager are volunteers. Who give up their own time, not just on a Sunday morning but also to attend courses often taking time off work and at their own expense. Part of the funds raised will enable the club to pay for courses & their kit.

The funds will also go towards subsidising taking the team on tour so that everyone who wants to go can and no one misses out - its about inclusion, having fun, being part of a team and enjoying the great game.
