Physically kurt is doing really well, he is now able to walk around his room and up the ward with assistance. He is developing his motor skills well and the doctors are really pleased with him. His brain injury is taking much longer to repair itself and is a much slower progression. As he cannot yet comprehend or understand many things. His memory and is severly effected but the doctors have reasured us that this should just be a matter of time.

Kurt has now been off the ventilator for over 48hrs & his consiousness is getting better by the day. The drs hope to close his trachyostomy site IN a day or two. They are starting to oral feed and have removed his nasal tube. Kurt has not spoke yet and is having trouble recognising or remembering family through facetime but drs assure us that this is to be expected and that it will take time. My dad will be beside kurt on sunday :) Thankyou all again, cannot express how much we appreciate everybodys input and kind hearted donations xx
