The Worst Earthquake in Turkish History effecting over 13 Million Turkish, Kurdish, Syrian and Arabic People as magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkey’s eastern provinces.

10 Large Cities in Türkiye have been affected and Turkey has officially asked for international aid. Given the economic conditions, timing (04:17 local time when everyone was sleeping at home) and freezing weather in the area, urgent help will be needed.

Deaths are already thousands of people and expected to be in tens of thousands & rescue efforts are just starting, millions of people are homeless with no blankets, no homes, no heating, nothing to eat (or extremely limited), with the next couple of days being the most critical. Many villages and small cities have No Food, No Electricity, No Gas, No Petrol, most roads are collapsed, help is very limited.

As a Turkish Family living in Scotland / Britain for over 2 decades and many Amazing Friends over the years, we are aiming to raise as much as we can, to donate to local & governmental organizations that are helping with the current rescue and aid efforts.

All your help and support will be very much appreciated by us, every single individual of those 13 Million People’s family, as well as their children whose homes are now collapsed or effected so millions of our people are now living on the streets in -2 Degree as of 6 February 2023.

As a whole Family, we are donating as much as we can, including our children giving their whole of their monthly pocket monies. The main focus will be to donate to get Blankets, Food, Heaters, Large Family Tents and Container Homes where the families and children will need until their homes are rebuilt in couple of years. The remaining for supporting the families going forward who are affected by this earthquake, disabled or ill or injured or unable to look after their children.
