BROOKWOOD VILLAGE CHRISTMAS FOODBANK APPEAL

With the ever increasing energy prices and cost of living some families are finding it incredibly difficult to make ends meet and this breaks our hearts. This fund is for the local community that desperately need our support and its very sad that some are having to visit Woking Foodbank to survive.

This year’s Christmas campaign will commence on Saturday 29th October and will finish on Saturday 10th December. If you can help in any way with non-perishable items/a cash donation or indeed a donation via our Justgiving page https://justgiving.com/crowdfunding/trudi-fletcher-2 that would be amazing. The cash may be used to purchase non-perishables or indeed put towards paying the rent on the Foodbank’s premises in Lansbury Estate. We have found the justgiving page an absolute blessing and have continued this again this year.

If you would like to provide a food parcel, please attach a label with your name and address so we can thank you personally. Drop off points are currently Brookwood Club and also Brookwood Bakers Dozen/Post Office during working hours, both within the village. If you would like to be a drop off point too please do let us know and we can get the word out.

Posters have gone out around the village and now you can scan the QR code which is much easier than having to type in the Just Giving page!!!

If you are a local company and would like to get involved please do let us know. We will be undertaking regular Radio interviews with Radio Woking again based at Winston Churchill School so we are more than happy to promote your business through all variations of social media throughout the campaign.
