The Jesus Loves You hot air balloon is intentionally designed to be bold and photo-friendly. The central focus of our festivals and social media programme from Spring 2017 and ongoing.

We've had a long-standing vision for the Jesus Loves You balloon. A simple, trans-denominational message in the heavens and glowing bright above the crowds for all to see and reflect upon. We believe now is the season to launch a faithful fundraising campaign to equip our voluntary pilots and crew with the tools to take that message to the skies, supported by our team on the ground.

It works for advertisers, so why not the Church? In the coming year, if 100,000 people share photos of it on social media with an average of 100 friends... the message will have reached 10 million people in a memorable, happy and visual way. It is that simple. And effective.

This crowdfunding - our first public appeal in 12 years - is for the preferential cost of commissioning the build of this very special balloon envelope and insuring its activities for the first year. The consultation for the final design at Summer 2016 festivals was very popularly received. We pray this wave of love reflects in donations. If we go over-target, we will be Blessed to equip it with new lightweight and efficient ancillary equipment; which will release our allocated resources to go further and serve more.

Donations in memory: Do you wish to donate in memory of someone who would have loved to see this happen? For donations greater than £50 we can write a memorial name permanently inside the balloon on one of the load tapes so the name flies with the balloon.
