Story
During the summer we were playing a friendly , the week before the season opener ...the key to the referees room got lost , so we tried to ring the council and the league numerous times without any luck at all . The referee was stood beside us for 45 minutes as we tried to contact someone ... we had to break the lock on the door to get the referees belongings , his clothes , car keys , house keys , wallet and phone . We did this keeping the damage to a minimum using tools the boys had in their Vans but were still hit with a bill for £1400 from the council . We informed the league that we had done it at the first time we could and said we would pay for the lock but they said they needed a new door and that's the bill ... we've done so well over the past 2.5 years but now we're in real danger of the club going through because of this bill ... we've raised all our own money from day one and will try to raise this through more fundraisers but we are asking if anyone could help out at all you would be help save this fantastic little community club 💙💛💙💛
