Story
Our track is one of the busiest in the country and used by athletes from all over the country as well as the local community. It is also a base for Manchester Triathlon Club, Chorlton Runners, Simply Cycling ( a community thrice-weekly event with up-to 200 participants ), Didsbury Runners, Manchester University and parkrun ( 700 participants ) as well as hosting over thirty school sports days every summer.
Last resurfaced in the late eighties it is in dire need of a re-surface. We are working in partnership with Trafford Council, who will oversee the project and provide the majority funding but we have to raise a significant amount ourselves. We hope to have it resurfaced in late summer 2022.
Your contribution will help us achieve our target.
