Tower Road Academy is committed to providing the very best education it can for it's pupils. This year one of the targets on our school improvement plan is to develop the outside learning environment for our pupils so more learning can take place outside of the classroom.

In order to help this development members of both the senior leadership team and governors have decided to take part in a 'Wild Warrior' 5k obstacle race on 22nd September in Derbyshire. We are hoping to raise money for our outdoor learning environment through sponsorship for this event which will see us face 36 obstacles over a 5k course including 'Swamp of Doom', 'Fire Starter' and 'Tight Fit' amongst others.

All monies raised from the sponsorship will go directly into funding new developments for our outdoor learning resources.
