I've raised £1000 to Help fund Malaak children's learning center in Lebanon near the Syrian border, set up to provide an education to Syrian refugee children.

Where the donations will be spent- 1 Hot meal for a child cost 50p (The Children are given 2 hot meals per day) Teachers Salaries are $400 ( Less than half the national average) Ground rent for the Malaak Center is $3,000 per year. We will also be buying sports and art supplies for the center along with medical supplies.
The unsung hero's are the teachers who work for less than half the national average just to help proved an education to the refugee children.

The founder of Malaak- Asma Abou Ezzeddine Rasamny, of Lebanese origin, called Damascus home for over 18 years. The tragic situation in Syria is the biggest humanitarian crisis since World War II, leaving 14 million children in desperate need of support. In an aim to try and help in any way she could, Asma found herself engaged with a group of displaced refugees in northern Lebanon, which later developed into a project for “Education.”
