Tottenham is a vibrant, diverse and active place to live. Unfortunately there is another side where teenagers are being killed or seriously hurt by other teenagers. This needs to stop! Young people often blame having nothing to do, nowhere to go or no one giving them a chance. sThey need local role models to take an interest in them and show them the right path.

As with many local authorities, Tottenham is experience the significant impact of cuts to central government funding. This has meant vital community services are no longer able to be provided. Our church has been funding a youth worker who undertakes essential services to our community. This role provides organising and facilitating activity days, summer holiday clubs, mentoring, youth cub, after school club, religious teachings in schools, Boys brigade leadership, Sunday school teaching, and event management.

Along with youth support, this role additionally works to help our most vulnerable residents by supporting homeless people, teaching religious studies in local primary schools and volunteering at local community events.

Our community is faced with the loss of this therapeutic support without the help of the local area. We are asking for support in ensuring this vital service for our young people continue. Any donation, no matter how small, will help keep your community safe and thriving.
