* Country Across The Country - Heli2 Appeal *
20 days - 20 gigs - 1,200 miles
I will be solo cycling from John O’Groats to the Isles of Scilly and every evening doing a Country gig to help raise money for Cornwall Air Ambulance to secure a second AW169 Helicopter.
The #HELi2 appeal is aiming to raise £2.85m to help them secure a second AW169 helicopter. The charity says owning an additional high-specification aircraft will boost their resilience and capability, meaning that when online they can always respond on the best-suited helicopter for the service they provide.
Owning two AW169s will help them to achieve 19-hour-a-day availability by air all year round, where weather allows, and ultimately, it will help Cornwall Air Ambulance to attend more missions by air and to save even more lives.

7 months agoLush to meet the team down at HeliFest 2024 where the talented Josh Curnow was kind enough to give me a little bit of his set to help me promote the challenge! Massive thank you to Shane Soloman also for doing an incredible job presenting the whole event on stage. Lottie Brown too for her lovely set as well as the lovely duo that is True Foxes! :) What a fantastic family friendly festival and day as a whole! :)

7 months agoMassive thank you once again to Exposure Photo Agency for their incredible photography skills, creating the photos that you are seeing as part of this challenge. We had a total of 5 attempts at Cornwall Air Ambulance HQ to get the photoshoot done, however the Air Ambulance was called out on 4 of the initial photoshoot days - showing just how vital our support is, to keep them in the air!
