Very sadly, our lovely Toby passed away at home, very peacefully on Thursday the 2nd of June. He was with his family during his last moments and was surrounded by their love.

In loving memory of Toby we have created the Toby O'Brien Foundation. This foundation will pay the fees for one young artist to attend the Newlyn School of Art mentoring course each year. This was a course that helped Toby immensely in 2018 when he was a participant and as such is very close to his heart. It was his wish to leave a lasting legacy in this way so his memory will live on forever through the students that the foundation supports.
