On the 25th September 2009, I was given the greatest gift on earth for my 19th Birthday, little did I know at the time - this gift would become my forever best friend, my whole entire world & my complete reason WHY!

That gift was My Tinkerbell…

From the second I held her in my arms for the first time, the bond between us was un-breakable. The whole family & group of friends loved her - even the ones that weren't too fond of dogs, there was just something SO special about her.

She came everywhere with me, I loved taking her on lots of adventures & she always loved to explore. Pontefract Park & Pugneys were her favourite places as a puppy, chasing Squirrels & swimming in the lake, but she soon learnt that the best place to go was the beach. She loved nothing more than climbing the rock pools, paddling in the sea & digging in the sand to make a comfy area to lie in to soak up the sun rays. Over the last few years she's explored so many different places & had so many doggy holidays, a lot more than most people have had. A few places we stayed was Cornwall, Scotland, Norfolk, Filey, Wales, Shropshire & Lincolnshire - she loved them all, but Cornwall was definitely her most loved place, it brought her to life. She still managed to climb the rock pools & trot up and down the beaches on our last visit to Cornwall in November 2023, she lived her life to the full & never complained about anything.

Tinkerbell has been by my side for the last 14.5 years no matter what. Through the good times & the bad - she never judged, never let me down, always knew how I was feeling & was always there for me. Without her - I wouldn't be where I am today. She gave me the motivation to set up "Tinkerbell's Trails" (Dog Walking), when this took off & became so popular, it gave me the chance to own our own dog swimming pool (Casa Canine) - WOW this was the dream, she even pushed me one step further to own our own dog treat company (Pick 'n Tricks). It's safe to say everything for the business has been done for her & I will continue to keep growing & keep expanding to keep her memory alive.

Tinkerbell has touched the hearts of so many people through social media & in person. Her gentle nature & her soft loving eyes have shone through on every single photo/video & it's so comforting that everyone can see how loved & adored she was. She really was my very best friend, the other half of me & my everything.

Therefore I have decided to raise funds to create a special Memorial for her at the pool, I'm aiming for a handmade sculpture of her with a memory plaque. (Still waiting on quotes so the target is estimated for now) but all funds raised will go towards something to remember her by. Any donations are very much appreciated.. This way people can still remember our Queen forever - My Tinkerbell.
