I've raised £1000 to support the Clean Up The River Kent campaign by completing the Staveley 18k Lakeland Trail Run!

Last year, sewage was discharged from the Staveley wastewater treatment works into the River Kent for 1172 hours. This is enormously harmful to local wildlife and to local residents whenever there is flooding.
So I'm running the Staveley 18k Lakeland Trail Run on May 7th to raise money for the Clean River Kent campaign. The campaigners are looking to make an application to DEFRA for safe bathing status to protect the river and are looking to raise funds to test the water quality as supplementary evidence for that application.
I would be massively grateful for any money you can give to sponsor me and support the Clean River Kent campaign. Thank you!
