On January 22nd, Tijanna was 32 weeks pregnant and not feeling well. After a visit to the hospital, she underwent an emergency C-section and gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy. However, during surgery, doctors discovered that Tijanna had advanced cancer, and her body was beginning to fail. In an incredible act of resilience and skill, a team of surgeons managed to save her life, though she was placed in a coma for over a week.

In the weeks that followed, Tijanna fought tirelessly through a slow recovery, but ultimately her health began to decline rapidly, leading to her passing. On Sunday, February 23rd, Tijanna peacefully took her final breath at the age of 33.

Despite the incredible challenges she faced, Tijanna managed to stay bright, positive, and full of love, especially for her newborn son. She fought with an unmatched strength, determined to make precious memories with her baby boy in her final weeks.

For the past 18 months, Tijanna poured her heart into charity work supporting stillbirth awareness, particularly after she and her husband Sean tragically lost their baby girl on June 6th, 2023. This family has been through unimaginable pain, yet their strength and compassion for others have never wavered.
