To continue to reach our local audience, Thornbury Radio needs to upgrade to being available on DAB radios. This is will make it easier for us to be heard with a stronger, digital signal - that will future-proof our service.

The catch is, we still have a final £7,500 to raise, but we face a licence deadline to raise the money by 1st September 2024 - so we are turning to you for help.

This comes as Thornbury Radio celebrates being live on FM radio for 3 years. With thousands of listeners, we are at at the centre of the local community.

A force for good - bringing together the local community and supporting and promoting so many good causes, community events, local groups, sports clubs and charities; as well as small businesses across South Gloucestershire.

Going digital is really expensive (it involves new transmitter equipment, aerial and increased running costs). You may not know, but Thornbury Radio is a not for profit community interest company - run by volunteers.

Whilst we have raised much of the cost of going digital ourselves, we now really need your help!
