Chinnor Village Centre Urgently Needs Your Help
The Chinnor Village Centre, a not-for-profit charity, offers a place and space for the use of the local community; focused on the provision of care and companionship including a coffee shop. An inclusive venue; a central meeting point for a variety of activities allowing our community to connect and socialise; nurturing a sense of community spirit, belonging and homeliness.
The Centre depends on volunteers to keep it running and to raise funds to meet its running costs. The Covid19 pandemic and the ensuing lock downs disrupted business streams and fundraising activities massively during 2020 and 2021. This has left a large hole in our finances. Trustees are actively seeking long term funding solutions but £10,000 would provide a much needed breathing space while these solutions are found. If we are unsuccessful in raising these funds then the centre may have to close after 30 years serving the local community
